Can deleted text messages be recovered?
Sometimes. Whether SMS, iMessage, or app messages can be recovered depends on the device, the messaging platform, encryption, time elapsed, and whether the data was overwritten, cached, or synced to the cloud. Recovery is never guaranteed.
Are recovered or deleted messages admissible in court?
Admissibility depends on authentication, chain of custody, and the applicable rules of evidence — not on recovery alone. We help establish, or challenge, the foundation for what a message is and what it actually proves.
Which messaging apps can be examined?
